People outside of Kallio

No mietitään. Hmm. Alaston blondi saa harjoittaa maailman ihaninta asiaa - seksiä ja saa siitä vielä rahaa kaiken hyvän päälle. Miehiltä riistetään heidän rahansa, eikä vastineeksi saa kuin kehnoa korviketta. Toivottavasti jatkossa miehet pääsevät rahastamaan seksin harjoittamisellaan ja naiset laitetaan maksunaisiksi. Se olisi sitä tasa-arvoa.

Jotkut luultavasti jo odottavat (or not), mitä aion tänä vuonna sanoa Kuukkeleista. Into ei valitettavasti nyt riitä oikein minkään sanomiseen, joten tyydyn lainailemaan Kuukkeli-ehdokas Finland for Thoughtin blogista poimittuja ajatelmia:

"ei sinutella" didn?t win, the judges completely disregarded the nominees and chose their own winner, "KallioBlogi"
...I?m just disappointed that Janne and the other four so-called "judges" thought their voters were too stupid to pick a proper nominee.

The judges of this award are made up of five people, all dudes, who are fellow bloggers. One of the judges, Kari Haakana, was up for the "Best Column" award and unsurprisingly, he won his own award!! I wonder who he voted for?

c?mon?judges in *any* event should not be one of the contenders. I think the name of the award should be renamed to, "What five guys think of Finnish blogs, including their own"

Now I?m not sure of this, but out of the 50 or so people who attended the event, I didn?t see one person from the traditional media...maybe if the voting methodolgy wasn?t so, kinda, "unethical", they would have came?

I want to see the Finnish blogosphere grow and be taken seriously - an event like this could bolster support in the mainstream, but honestly, because of the unprofessionalism by Janne Jalkanen, Kari Haakana and others - I think it had the opposite effect.

I remember hearing there are blogging people living outside of Kallio as well.

What would happen if, for instance, The Academy Awards had a panel of only five people, who were all movie directors/producers themselves, and one of them was George Lucas, and Star Wars II won the "Film of the Year" - what kind of credibility would they have for that and what would the public think?
